What to Expect in Andy Brown’s Solo Concert This Saturday
Fans and media had a field day last March 27 as they were given a glimpse of what will go down in the one-night solo concert of Lawson’s lead singer and guitarist Andy Brown this March 30.
Members of the press and fans gathered at SM North EDSA for them to see and get up close and personal with the lead singer of British pop rock band Lawson. Fans were able to ask questions, take a photo with him, and see him perform a few of his songs on stage—a teaser of what fans should expect in his acoustic concert happening this Saturday.
Andy Brown, who started his solo career in 2017, released his debut album as a solo artist named Cedarmont. Shifting from pop rock to country music, his solo album features 12 singles inspired by real and personal stories he wrote and recorded while in Nashville, USA.
According to him, his solo concert will be more intimate and personal just like his debut album. It is Brown’s third time here in the Philippines however this time, he’s here as a solo act.
When asked about how he feels performing without his bandmates, Brown describes it as something different, more personal and intimate experience than being with his band. However, he also teased that Lawson will explore other genres in the future.
On his one night acoustic concert, he will be performing new singles from his album such as “Talk of the Town” and “Lay with Me,” as well as some of Lawson’s hit songs namely “Standing in the Dark,” “Learn to Love Again,” “When She Was Mine,” and many more.
