Dr. Michelle Lingao is one of only a handful of pediatric ophthalmologists and ocular geneticists in the Philippines. She dedicates a part of her practice to babies, children, and teens who need basic or specialty eye care, and another part to patients with inherited or rare eye conditions and their family members. Apart from providing children with a fun, comfortable experience, she also works closely with family members to make sure they understand the eye condition before making an informed decision on the treatment or management.
Dr. Lingao completed her fellowships at recognized national and international institutions, including the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH) and Wills Eye Institute in Philadelphia, USA. At present, she also serves as an associate clinical professor at the UP-PGH College of Medicine.
