Study in Japan 2019 Program now open for applications
The Embassy of Japan in the Philippines has now opened its applications for the Japanese Government Scholarship Program in 2019.
Launching its yearly MEXT/Monbukagakusho program, The Japan Information and Culture Center (JICC) of the Embassy of Japan encourages students who are interested to take programs of various fields of study available in their list. For 2019, JICC accepts applications in Research, Undergraduate, Specialized Training College, and College of Technology from students with good academic standing.

According to the Embassy’s official website, all Filipino citizens who meet the qualifications are eligible to apply. Application forms and requirements are available for download from their official website.
Interested applicants are strongly advised to read and understand the scholarship requirements as incomplete applications shall not be accepted. MEXT is known for its scrupulous screening process which includes document screening, written exams, and an interview. Deadline for submission is until May 18, 2018 only.
