This 2018, the said organization will celebrate 40 years of work in the Philippines. Continuing its commitment to cultural relations, the British Council decided to move to a new and bigger space to accommodate their growing library. Their new home in BGC would be their fourth location, after being established in 1978 in Makati, which later moved to New Manila, then to Ortigas in 1996.
