  • The Philippine government has announced several operational plans for the Holy Week. For the Department of Transportation (DOTr), the challenge is greater with the surge of motorists driving out of the city for their long weekend destinations. Though their Facebook Page, the department has released their relevant hotlines of emergency and tollway operators.

Under the “Oplan Biyaheng Ayos: Semana Santa 2018,” DOTr’s agencies would work 24/7 to provide regular updates on operations in real time through their websites, help desks and these accessible hotlines.

This announcement comes just two days after the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines announced its own Oplan Semana Santa, which put in place a no-leave, no-day-off policy for airport personnel.
