  • Lenovo Launches Five New Thinkpad for the Outgoing Millennial
  • By 2020, millennials will make up more than 50 percent of the workforce. Thus, Lenovo is equipping them with the 8th-generation ThinkPads and ThinkStations. The PC manufacturer unveiled seven new products in the press conference, Transforming the future workspace: Work, Create and Connect at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on Thursday.

Lenovo is a global leader in providing the innovative consumer, commercial, and enterprise the technology they need. Their Think and multimode YOGA brands have taken the Filipino hearts through the years. The new products are specifically designed to provide enhanced agility and performance to assist Filipino companies in future-proofing their workplaces.

    ThinkPad L380 Php 64,990 – Now Available

    ThinkPad x280 Php 85,990 – Available April 2018

    ThinkPad T480S Php 96,990 – Available April 2018

Other products unveiled during the launch were ThinkPad X1 Carbon (Php 99,990) and X1 Yoga (Php 110,990), ThinkStation P520C (Php 115,990), P520 (Php 137,990) that will all be available in stores come April. The ThinkStations are equipped with the latest Intel Xeon processors and the NVIDIA Quadro graphics that make them powerful and best for gamers, graphic artists, and professionals.

New features include IR cameras for facial recognition access, physical webcam covers, and the Intel Core vPro feature of the Intel Core U-series processors as an additional layer of protection and security. All new models will feature UBB-C power adaptors for universal charging. For enhanced portability, because millennials work on the go, Lenovo made the 8th-generation ThinkPads lighter and thinner.

“With most of today’s workforce being on-the-go, it is now time for traditional workspaces to evolve in order to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity. Together with Intel, our newest ThinkPads meet mobility demands while at the same time providing enterprise-grade reliability and security, thereby making offices who utilize them more than ready to face any challenges that future businesses environments hold,” said Lenovo Philippines Country General Manager Michael Ngan.
