Dr. Serafico is an orthopedic surgeon by profession. The scope of his practice includes the following: arthritis and osteoporosis management, treatment of fractures and handling of the spine, hand, and pediatric orthopedic cases. He finished his pre-medical degree at the University of Sto. Tomas. He took his MD at the Fatima College of Medicine, had his internship at Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center, and completed his residency training at the Department of Orthopedics in the same institute.
His approach to treating patients is somewhat unique. He earns the patient’s trust by thoroughly explaining to them their conditions, possible treatment options, and expectations during their recovery in the simplest interpretation possible by layman’s term. He has been practicing as an active fellow of the Philippine Orthopedic Association for the past 17 years.
