In an effort to resolve traffic issues in the Philippines, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) launched its chatbot hotline through its i-ACT Facebook page.

In its campaign “Sumbong Bulok, Sumbong Usok,” the DOTr urges everyone to report traffic violators, smoke belchers, and abusive traffic enforces by sending them a message via chat. Through the chatbot, you may report any traffic concerns as you can also send photos and videos to accompany the complaint. However, the DOTr also encourages the netizens to send a complaint only when the sender is legally parked or if the sender is a passenger.
Make sure to include enough details to accompany your complaint then wait for a ticket number
Apart from sending a report, you may also check the status of your report and view DOTr announcements when you click on the link.
The i-ACT (InterAgency Council for Traffic) was relaunched in 2017, which aims to “revitalize, update, and further improve solutions to traffic situations” in the country. According to their post, the i-ACT shall have “case managers and case resolvers” from LTO, LTFRB, PNP-HPG, and MMDA who will oversee these complaints.
