  • Tripkada holds travel meet-up and iOS app launch
  • The Philippines’ first and largest trip-pooling platform, Tripkada, is going places as it travels through various booking platforms to make traveling around the country more fun and accessible to many.

Tripkada CEO and Co-Founder April Cuenca talks about the mobile app.

Just a few years after it was first launched as a trip-pooling website and a mobile app on Google Play, Tripkada has unveiled its new iOS app in a gathering of travelers, travel experts, partners, and friends at the QBO Innovation Hub last February 7, Wednesday. The event was also Tripkada’s first Travel Meet-up of the year, giving a chance for lovers of travel to mingle with new people and share a common interest.

Besides the grand app launch, the event also consisted of fun and games, food and booze, and lots of handshakes and cheer.

    The Tripkada team!

If you have used the Android mobile app of Tripkada, the iOS app practically has the same features. You can browse a variety of trips organized by local travelers, check trip reviews, book a trip, keep a record of your past trips, and more. Furthermore, the mobile app (both on Android and iOS) lets you bookmark trips you’re interested in and sync your upcoming trips with your calendar.

Tripkada is an online platform that allows individuals to transform their dream vacation into reality minus the hassle by letting them choose a trip based on their preferred destination, activity, and budget. The trips are organized by local travelers that are verified by the Tripkada.

Itching for travel yet? Visit Tripkada’s website at www.tripkada.com or download the mobile app on Google Play or iTunes.
