The four-member band, composed of Takahiro “Taka” Moriuchi, vocalist; Toru Yamashita, guitarist; Ryota Kohama, bassist; and Tomoya Kanki, drummer, are back in Manila for their Ambitions Asia Tour 2018.
To begin the concert, Taka heated up the stage by singing songs from their Ambitions album, including Bombs Away, Taking Off, Bedroom Warfare, One Way Ticket, Bon Voyage, I Was King, Take What You Want, We Are, and American Girls.
During the introduction, the members charmed the fans with greetings in Filipino. Ryota said, “Kamusta ka? Kaya niyo pa ba? Sobrang nag-enjoy kami dahil nagpunta kayo!” (How are you? Are you guys still okay? We are having so much fun because all of you came.”)
The other members also expressed how happy they are to see their Filipino fans, and they hope that everyone will enjoy the concert.
One Ok Rock fans got the chance to hear songs from the band’s previous albums, particularly JinseixBoku=, 35xxv, Niche Syndrome, and Zankyo Reference.
Before leaving the stage, Taka teases his fans with a possibility for a next concert as he shouted, “See you soon!”
