  • Philippines strengthened ties with New Zealand as both sign for a memorandum of cooperation in improving education system.

    In a report by ABS-CBN News, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and President Rodrigo Duterte witnessed the signing of the memorandum of cooperation (MOC) regarding the improvement of education system in Southeast Asia. The signing was done by New Zealand Ambassador to the Philippines David Strachan and Commission on Higher Education (CHED) chairperson Patricia Licuanan. It was held during the bilateral meeting at the Philippine International Convention Center on November 14, 2017.

    In this deal, as per President Duterte, is a good development in terms of Philippines’ access to quality of education in New Zealand.
