New World Hotels and Resorts is a strong advocate of education, and this is one of our many initiatives to support this platform,” said Farid Schoucair, General Manager of New World Makati Hotel.
“We are very pleased to find a partner and kindred spirit in an organization who is so visibly passionate about what they do,” he added.
MOA Signing
Springboard Foundation is a non-profit, non-government organization established in the Philippines as a grant making, fund manager, technical advisor, and project management foundation set up to improve the lives of Filipino children.
New format
New World Hotels and Resorts will be upping the ante and the fun this year by introducing a new format: a 4-man golf scramble.
The four-man scramble features teams of four players competing against one another. In this format, each team’s players hit from the tee box, then the team members choose the best of the four shots for the next shot. All team members then play the second shot from that location and again choose the best shot. Play continues in this manner until the hole is completed. The team then records its score and maintains that format for all 18 holes.1
This format will ensure everyone will have an equal chance to win, emphasizing teamwork over skill.
Interested players may avail of the tournament fee of Php 4,000, which includes the green fee, caddy, golf cart, and lunch. For reservations, call Frances Peria at 02-811-6888 ext. 3289 or at 0917-554-3217.
