Delectable flavors from Israel.
All dishes served were representative of Israeli cuisine.
While the dishes served during the event were representative of the country’s cuisine, the flavors of Israel did not only connote food but also conveyed the nation’s essence and diversity.
Through the speech of ICCP President Itamar Gero, people got a glimpse of how a small country like Israel thrives as a start-up and hi-tech nation. CBN Asia VP for Production and Programming Kata Inocencio meanwhile shared her collection of photos taken during her travel around Israel, which helped the audience visualize just how beautiful and blessed the nation of Israel is.

Israel and the Philippines have continued to foster diplomatic relations for 60 years* since 1947, the year Israel was finally recognized as a nation. During the United Nations vote, Philippines was the only Asian country that supported the creation of the State of Israel.

Note: The Republic of the Philippines and the State of Israel established full diplomatic relations in 1957, but both countries have been in contact since 1947 when the Philippines voted in favor of United Nations Resolution 181, which effectively created the State of Israel. The Philippines was the only Asian country to do so.
