ANA, Japan’s only 5-star airline, was voted 3rd among the World’s Top 10 Airlines in 2017. The said airline ranks number 1 for having the World’s Best Airport Services as the airline is recognized for its quality of services at the Tokyo Haneda and Narita airports. Aside from that, ANA also placed 2nd for having the World’s Best Cabin Staff 2017. This much-coveted award recognizes the “highest all-round performance of an airline’s cabin staff, from covering hard services (efficiency, techniques, etc.) to soft services (attitude, hospitality).”
In the official press release by ANA, President and CEO Mr. Yuji Hirako mentioned his gratitude towards receiving the awards. “As a global leading airline, ANA continues to provide our passengers with world class service, and we are honored that SKYTRAX and its readers have once again recognized our commitment to deliver the best passenger comfort, convenience and safety.”

“These awards would not be possible without our hard-working staff on the ground and on board, supported by inspiring training programs and innovative new services. Most of all, I would like to thank all our customers for voting for us and continuing to make ANA Japan’s leading airline,” Mr. Hirako added.
These prestigious awards were given by Skytrax, the international air transport rating organization established in 1989 and based in the United Kingdom. It is more commonly known as the “Oscars of the aviation industry.”
