Max’s Restaurant opens food truck in Vancouver, Canada
Max’s Restaurant from the Philippines has opened its first food truck in Vancouver, Canada.
Popular Filipino restaurant Max’s, popularly known as “The House that Fried Chicken Built,” has expanded its operations to Canada by putting up its first-ever food truck in Vancouver.
In a YouTube video posted by Balitang America (ABS-CBN’s franchise news program abroad), they were able to tour inside the custom-made truck. This is also the first food truck in Vancouver that will offer authentic Filipino cuisine.
Filipino favorites will be served in the Max’s food truck such as pork barbecue, pancit palabok (Filipino noodles with shrimp gravy), inasal (roasted chicken), halo halo (Filipino shaved ice dessert), buko pandan (buco dessert) and the much-loved chicken adobo.

Max’s Restaurant was built in 1945, making it one of the oldest and most popular Filipino restaurants in the Philippines. At present, Max’s has franchises all over the world, including the United States and Canada.
