Asian Air Safari launches season 12 with Ethiopian adventure
Guests enjoyed the ultimate Ethiopian cultural experience at the Asian Air Safari Season 12 Premiere last May 23 at Shang Cineplex.

The flying adventure travel show, together with Ethiopian Airlines, hosted an iconic coffee ceremony and a feast of the country’s authentic cuisine, which included the staple, injera. Cultural performers also flew all the way from Addis Ababa to showcase their iconic songs and dances.

The two-part screening featured two new Asian Air Safari episodes, A Cradle of Mankind and A Land of Diversity, with Pilot and TV presenter Capt. Joy exploring the country’s rich history, meeting its vibrant people, experiencing the unique culture, and discovering the diverse wildlife.

The new season, “Tracing Our Routes, Unraveling A Diverse World,”celebrates how various nations and races are able to find a common ground despite their very distinct cultures and religious beliefs. It will feature unexplored destinations from Israel, Italy, Sweden, Australia, Japan, the Philippines and more.

Asian Air Safari is the only aviation-themed travel show in Asia. Hosted by real-life pilot Capt. Joy Roa, the show has been to over 250 cities in more than 65 countries to discover the world’s most fascinating places and cultures, meet with friends old and new, and to share experiences that make life meaningful.
Asian Air Safari Season 12 begins June 11, 2017, Sunday at 8:30 p.m. on the ABS-CBN News Channel, with replays every Saturday at 2 p.m.
