Check out these fitness-friendly areas within Makati that will let you have your own spacious and refreshing running space amidst the entire busy situation that happens every day within the concrete jungle.

    1. Ayala Triangle Garden


    Ayala Triangle Gardens is one of the most suitable areas for joggers as it provides a refreshing at the same time, inspiring atmosphere for your fitness needs. The whole park is populated by over a hundred trees with a diverse mix, lush greenery, and several public art pieces from some of the country’s leading artists. There are also a lot of restaurants and café nearby. You can also enjoy free Wi-Fi, powered by Globe, within the whole premise.

    Legazpi Active park has a clean grassy area that is perfect for some outdoor fitness activities like badminton, yoga, zumba etc. There is also a jogging trail and a children’s playground making it a wholesome place for the whole family.

    3. Washington SYCIP Park


    Washington SYCIP Park is created by Ayala Land in 2006 in honor of the esteemed accounting firm magnate Washington SyCip.
    This verdant park shuts off the noise and bustle of the city with its charming gazebo, rustic landscape, and calming atmosphere. No wonder this urban paradise is loved by both locals and expat office workers.

    4. Circuit Makati


    This 21-hectare mixed-use development on the former Sta. Ana Racetrack property of the Philippine Racing Club Inc. (PRCI), is said to soon rise as Makati’s entertainment district. The area features a world-class indoor theatre, multipurpose entertainment spaces, and open grounds that are perfect not just for jogging but also for all kinds of outdoor activities.

    5. Jaime C. Velasquez Park


    Include Jaime C. Velasquez Park in your running route options when you want to enjoy the revitalizing of when-city-meets-park atmosphere. The park also serves as the official venue for the annual event, ‘Art in the Park.’
