Boracay among the top 10 Island destinations in the world

Boracay Island in the Philippines was voted into the CTrip Top 10 Islands Destination Awards 2016 alongside Phuket, Malaysia, Maldives, Tahiti, Mauritius, Guam, Bali, Saipan and Okinawa.

 

The Department of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday (March 7) said the awarding ceremony took place at the newly opened 7-star Wanda Reign Hotel at Bund, Shanghai.

Now on its second year, the CTrip Travel Awards Ceremony aims to recognize top destinations and travel service providers. CTrip is a Chinese travel service provider based in Shanghai.
The island paradise of Boracay once again won accolades this time as part of CTrip Top 10 Islands Destination Awards for 2016.
Vice Consul André Peter C. Estanislao of the Philippine Consulate General in Shanghai received the award on behalf of the country.
