  • Venice Film Festival’s Golden Lion winner, Lav Diaz’ Ang Babaeng Humayo (The Woman Who Left), has inked a deal with film distributor Kino Lorber, which is known to be the leader in distributing art-house and international films.

Aiming to offer “the best in contemporary, classic, and documentary films that aim to engage, provoke, stimulate, and entertain today’s audiences,” this film company releases over 25 films yearly to add up to its library of more than 1000 titles.
Ang Babaeng Humayo stars Charo Santos-Concio and John Lloyd Cruz. It tells the story of a woman who is seeking revenge after serving 30 years in prison for a crime she did not commit.
