  • Duterte-Putin to meet in Russia this May

    • In a report by news.abs-cbn.com, President Rodrigo Duterte confirmed that he will visit Russia on May 25, 2017.

    The President also said that Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Central Command chief Army Major General Oscar Lactao will accompany him during the visit.

    Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin, as cited by news.mb.com.ph, earlier extended his invitation to Duterte to visit Moscow to solidify Philippines-Russia relations during the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Lima, Peru last November.
