44 Filipinos recognized as ASEAN Engineers

    MANILA, Feb. 25 (PNA) — A total of 44 Filipino engineers in Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia’s eastern region have been recognized as ASEAN Engineers by the Philippine Technological Council – Middle East and North Africa Affairs (PTC-MENA) in special conferment ceremonies in Manama, Bahrain.

    The Department of Foreign Affairs said in a news release that the conferment is a step towards attaining full status and recognition of engineering professionals to practice and work in the entire ASEAN region.
