  • In a report published by dfa.gov.ph, Filipina teacher Lilian Albarico received the highest honorary award for foreign expatriates called “Tengwengge Friendship Award” in Nanchang City,  Jiangxi Province, People’s Republic of China.

    Albarico currently works as a teacher at Nova Scotia Program, Sino-Canadian Department, Nanchang No. 2 High School in Nanchang City.

    The award, as cited by news.abs-cbn.com, is given bi-annually to Nanchang-based expatriates in recognition of their accomplishments and social, and cultural contributions to the city.

    In an interview with Nanchang Television, Albarico shared that “the one that really pushed me to bring my students to help is that it will always make you feel good at the end of the day that you did something for other people.”

    Lilian Albarico came from Dimataling, Zamboanga Del Sur in the Philippines.
