  • PAL’s newest inflight safety video brings tourists around the Philippines
  • If you’ve always been one who gets bored and dozes off during the part where flight attendants demonstrate the safety procedures while aboard the plane, then PAL’s newest video might just be one of the things that would make you tune in!

Philippine Air Lines (PAL), the country’s flag carrier, has recently launched its Heart of the Nation inflight Safety Video which aims to promote and inform the passengers how important safety is, while bringing them to some of the Philippines’ most beautiful destinations.  The video was co-developed with McCann Worldgroup Philippines, Inc. and with the support of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) and the Department of Tourism (DOT)

Highlighting the Filipinos’ culture of being “maaruga” (caring) and the spirirt of “bayanihan” (unity), the safety video, according to PAL President and Chief Operating Officer Jaime J. Bautista, is engaging because of its two-pronged nature, “It provides the latest safety guidelines, and also generates interest to travel to and within the Philippines,” he said.

Bautista also said that this is PAL’s response on their responsibility to provide their passengers a level of care that goes beyond their call of duty.

Ria Domingo, PAL’s VP for Marketing, also stated that through PAL and McCann’s partnership, the video will serve as a useful and effective tool that will emphasize the importance of inflight safety and service in a time when people are so involved in technology.
