  • Award-winning luxury and lifestyle travel magazine Condé Nast (CN) Traveler cited that the Philippines is next great cruising destination after the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.

Lindsay Talbot of CN Traveler suggests an island-hopping voyage through the Philippines to explore more of its historic cities found in more than 7,107 islands in the country.

coronKayangan Lake, one of the most popular spots in Coron, Palawan

With Seabourn Sojourn, a luxury cruise ship operated by Seabourn Cruise Line, Talbot was able to visit Hundred Islands National Park in Pangasinan, Manila Bay and Intramuros in Manila, Boracay in Panay Island, and Coron and Puerto Princesa in Palawan.

In 2016, the luxury magazine in its Readers’ Choice Awards also hailed Palawan as one of the best islands in the world.

Meanwhile, Puerto Princesa Subterranean River was chosen as one of the Seven New Wonders of the World.

Travelers around the world are now recognizing Philippine islands as their best travel destinations, so don’t forget to list down these sites on your next Travel Bucket List this 2017!
