#KwentongJollibee Valentine Series: Viral Videos of Love

Last week, a series of video clips posted by Filipino fast food chain Jollibee’s Facebook page went viral, amounting to more than 30 million views just a few days after its release. The said series of videos were #KwentongJollibee Valentine Series, three-minute video clips which celebrate “all kinds of love.” These heartwarming videos were shared by over a million Facebook users, and shared their reactions through other social media sites such as Twitter where it also became a trending topic.

The first video, titled #Vow, showed a story about “those who found joy in loving unconditionally.” This relatable video of unrequited love, according to commenter Nicko Puga, told a “true story of untold love and hidden admiration.” The video was shared by half a million users at present.

The second clip entitled #Crush, was made for those “who never gave up on love.” This cute and sweet story reminds people of young love that will make your heart melt. Facebook user Elena Velasco shared her two cents about the ad saying “Love their ads geared towards young love. Innocent and faithful love.”

The last of the three was the tearjerking #Date, which tells a story of a family’s eternal love for each other. The touching video of family love garnered about 9 million views when it was shared last February 10. As Facebook user Maria Jennings commented “Speechless! I don’t understand the language but I don’t have to because I can clearly understand the words that are being said. This is a perfect example of the fact that love has no barriers! Just beautiful!”
