  • Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific (DNAP) recently announced 16 new shows coming from Southeast Asia that will be included in the 2017 program slate for Discovery Channel and TLC, a couple of which come from the Philippines.

    Science enthusiasts Ramon Bautista, Jun Sabayton, Lourd De Veyra, RA Rivera, and Angel Rivero headline You Have Been Warned Asia, a show that deconstructs the science behind the internet’s home-made inventions, human guinea pigs, nature-obsessed thrillers, and adrenaline junkies and why they should not be attempted at home. This show is produced by Jesuit Communications Foundation, Inc., the same team behind the acclaimed movie Ignacio De Loyola.

    From Montero Productions comes a travel show that’s probably not for the faint of heart. Worst Vacation Ever follows Filipino celebrity brothers KC and Troy Montero as they relive the worst and most unbelievable holiday anecdotes to ever grace the internet.

    Fans of celebrity couple Joey Mead King and Angelina Mead King will finally get a taste of what it feels like to be one of the most progressive couples in Asia. Produced by Active TV, TLC’s The Kings marks the debut television appearance of the couple as they take you behind the scenes and show you the candid highs and lows of their daily lives.
