Good Life honors traditions during ‘Flavors of Fortune’ CNY food fest
Visitors to Robinson’s Place Manila got an early taste of Chinese New Year last Friday, January 27, and Saturday, January 28, with Good Life’s Flavors of Fortune: Food Trip Down Chinatown.
Flavors of Fortune allowed those who visited Robinson’s Place Manila to experience what it felt like to stroll down Chinatown without ever leaving the comfort of the mall.

The event showcased some of the more known parts of Chinese tradition, including cooking demos and cultural performances. Master Hans Cua, a known Feng Shui master, also gave a talk about Feng Shui. Good Life also gave away prizes throughout the event by way of games and raffle draws.
The event also featured the Good Life Chinoy Dish Showdown: a live cooking competition between some of the city’s finest hotels that showcased modern Chinese-Filipino dishes. Hotels that participated in the event included Hotel Kimberly, City Garden Hotel, Lotus Garden Hotel, Eurotel, Bayview Park Hotel, and Best Western Hotel.

LEARN CALLIGRAPHY. A booth where you can learn the art of Chinese calligraphy.
Visitors also got to experience a bit of Chinese culture through several booths, including a Chinese Horoscope wall, Fortune Telling through tarot cards, and the Good Life Chinoy Activity Strip, which featured calligraphy, paper cutting, and lantern folding.
