Ayala Land is opening 5 new shopping malls this year
In a news published by The Standard, apart from the recently opened The 30th in Pasig, Ayala Land is opening 5 more shopping mall this 2017 that will add 150,000 square meters of leasable space to its shopping mall portfolio.
A shopping mall is set to open in Vertis North complex, Quezon City, two other big commercial developments including the Feliz Town Center in Pasig. Also opening this 2017 is Southvale in Alabang and Ayala Malls in Marikina.
The property developer has been said to be active in opening new malls to boost income, also building up recurring-income sources including hotels and office developments to balance residential development and leasing portfolios.
Last year, Ayala land has opened malls in Palawan, Alabang and Iloilo. The company said that by year 2020, they’ve already lined up mall projects that would nearly 1 million sqm of leasable space, which are located within the group’s integrated township projects across the country, including Bacolod, Palawan and Cebu.
