Forbes lists Palawan as one of the ‘Best Budget Travel Destinations for 2017’
In an article posted by international magazine Forbes, Palawan is cited as one of the 21 Best Budget Travel Destinations for 2017.

Out of the 21 destinations on the list, Philippines was said to be “heating up as a destination for 2017.” Forbes’ Alexandra Talty described Palawan as “where the magic remains a little more untouched and quiet.” Talty also mentioned Palawan’s breathtaking spots such as the diverse landscape and marine life.
At the eighth spot, Palawan is surely an ideal travel destination, with the mentioned activities to do here such as “snorkeling, diving, beach hopping, and exploring underground cave systems. Tatly further wrote that Palawan is a budget travel destination because it is not a party island. She also added that beers are quite cheap in the country.
Other destinations on the list are Northern Vietnam, Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan, Lisbon in Portugal, Seoul in South Korea, Bucharest in Romania, Cape Point in South Africa, Crete in Greece, Burleigh Heads in Australia, Porto in Portugal, Trinidad and Tobago, Trencin in Slovakia, Luang Prabang in Laos, Cairo in Egypt, Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia, Moab in Utah, Antigua in Guatemala, Brasov, Romania, Hopkins in Belize, Copan in Honduras, and Tbilisi in Georgia.
