  • A segment of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Expressway (NAIAX) that connects Entertainment City in Parañaque and Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard in Pasay City to NAIA Terminal 3 and Skyway is now operational.

    On December 21, the segment called “Christmas Lane” was opened 6:00 am to accommodate motorists in anticipation of the holiday rush. According to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), the opening of this segment will cut travel time by at least 40%.

    NAIAX is a 12.65 km elevated expressway and 2.22 km at grade road that passes through Sales Avenue, Andrews Avenue, Parañaque River, Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) Road, and Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard.

    As per DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, 90% of the project has been completed and the full access of NAIAX shall be expected on the first quarter of 2017. Once completed, motorists can now access NAIA Terminals 1,2,3, and 4 easily.
