  • Good news for all senior citizens and persons with disabilities out there! You can enjoy free rides on all weekends and holidays from December 3, 2016 to January 8, 2017 in all LRT1 stations.

    Light Rail Transit 1 (LRT1) operator Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) is offering free rides to all senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) this Christmas season.

    To avail of the complimentary rides, LRMC said passengers should have their own concessionary beep card and that they should be accompanied by at least two family members. They must proceed to the teller’s booth in any LRT1 station to activate his or her free ride.

    Moreover, LRMC earlier announced that it is extending LRT1 operating hours to 11:00 pm until December 23 to serve more commuters. The LRT1 operator has added 7 more trips every night to address late-night demand.
