  • Filipinos can be as thrifty as the next person. Our OFWs, for one, can take penny pinching to new heights just so they can send money back home. There are also people who take budgeting to a whole new level, being able to map out how much they’ll spend not just for the day or week, but even for the whole month.

    However, we do have our fair share of bad money habits: from being so-called “one-day millionaires” to not having bank accounts or knowing how to grow our money. Financial literacy is slowly growing in the Philippines, and every bit of information will help, especially when it comes to our money habits.
