Filipina singer Rachelle Ann Go to join ‘Miss Saigon’ on Broadway
Talented Filipina songstress Rachelle Ann Go is set to join the Broadway production of popular musical Miss Saigon in the United States, reprising her character as bar girl Gigi in the West End performance in the Broadway Revival.

Go, who is currently playing the role of Fantine in the West End original production of Les Miserables, will be reprising her role where she was named as Best Supporting Actress in a Musical at the 2015’s What’s On Stage Awards, according to BroadwayWorld’s website.
Joining Go in the Broadway cast are Jon Jon Briones who plays the role of The Engineer and Eva Noblezada as Kim, who will also be reprising their said roles. Devil Ilaw from Les Miserables will play Thuy in the upcoming Broadway performance.
Miss Saigon tells a story of young bar girl Kim who fell in love with an American GI Chris during the Vietnam War. The performances will begin on March 1, 2017 at the Broadway Theatre and the opening night will be on March 23, 2017. Miss Saigon on Broadway will have a run with limited engagement until January 14, 2018.
