Free for life at the National Library! NLP Card now optional
The internet may have officially taken over as the go-to resource for students and teachers alike, but libraries, like the National Library of the Philippines (NLP), are still the best option for those who want reliable sources.

Imagine the smile on people’s faces when NLP announced on their Facebook page that they will no longer require anyone to have a library card to access their archives. All you need to do is present a valid ID and register at their IT Division.
For those who still want to avail of the NLP card, it’s only P100.
The National Library acts as the country’s repository of our printed and recorded cultural history. They have a wide range of resources, and it’s not limited to books and other printed materials. There’s an extensive multimedia collection that you won’t find in other libraries or websites.
The National Library is located at T.M. Kalaw St., Ermita, Manila. It is open from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. They observe local and national holidays.
