Hold your horses! Grab is offering GrabKalesa in Manila
In celebration of Philippines’ “Buwan ng Wika” (National Language Month), mobile transport app Grab will be offering GrabKalesa on August 20 to 21, 2016.

Kalesa is a Filipino term for horse-drawn carriage that was used as a mode of transportation from the ancient times up until this day. These carriages are usually found at Intramuros, Manila where it is being used to go through various spots in the Walled City.
To experience GrabKalesa, you need to book by using the Grab App. Choose the GrabKalesa icon to book and type in Plaza Roma for Pick-up and Drop off points. This will be available on August 20 to 21 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and is free of charge.
The tour will start and finish at Plaza de Roma, General Luna St., Intramuros, Manila. The streets it will traverse through are General Luna, Real, Sta. Lucia, Muralla, A. Soriano Avenue, Sta. Clara, and Arzobispo. For the spots, you can see the Manila Cathedral, Baluarte de San Andres, Bahay Tsinoy, Light and Sound, San Agustin Church, and Fort Santiago, among many others. Only 1 to 3 persons are allowed per Kalesa, and the trip will last for 30 minutes.
