The BEEP, short for Bagong Jeep, is a modern version of the jeepney that has an automated fare collection and organized fleet management system.

They are now undergoing a trial run with 6 Beep jeeps plying the Lagro-Cubao route as well as the Parang to Stop & Shop Marikina route. Minimum fare is set to P7, with each jeep being able to hold 16 passengers.

MINIUM FARE IS STILL at P7, so there’s no need to worry about a surge.

All of their Beep jeepneys are Euro-compliant, and cost P1.3 million each. No details have been revealed by Vigor Mendoza of Kilusan sa Pagbabago ng Industriya ng Transportasyon (KAPIT) on a metro-wide roll out as of today.
