It is with sincere regret and reluctance to notify you that Carpaccio Ristorante Italiano will be closing permanently its doors on the evening of February 16, 2019, after 24 wonderful years of being one of the leading Italian restaurants in Manila.

Nevertheless and on a positive note, we are happy to inform everyone that we will continue to serve the most popular Italian dishes in our two restaurants in the same building – Chesa Bianca & I’m Angus Steakhouse. In the case of functions, we will be more than happy to attend requirements on the Carpaccio premises.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY? Yes, it’s true! You can celebrate Christmas in July if you drop by Carpaccio Ristorante Italiano from today until July 31!

 

What is Christmas in July, you ask? First off, Christmas in Australia is still observed on December 25. However, with the land down under being, well, down under, celebrations are a bit different: instead of being celebrated with hearty meals beside a roaring bonfire or fireplace, Australians do it on the beach with beer. After all, December is the middle of summer in Australia.

It’s believed that Christmas in July was started by a small group of people in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney as their way of celebrating a typical Christmas, since July is the coldest of Australia’s winter months.

Thanks to world-class Chef Thomas Heinrich, you can enjoy this Australian tradition with these Christmas-inspired dishes:
