  • Quality bar sets are not that common in the Philippines, much less in Asia. Most bartenders and bar owners find it hard to find quality beverage products anywhere in the country. Yes, you can go to Quiapo to get cheap knock-offs, but you only get what you pay for. Bar tools are sold online, but most of these are delivered from overseas, sending their prices sky high.

This makes it hard for anyone to own a quality bar set, especially the average Juan. We’ve all been mixing our own cocktails at home for friends, so why not take it to the next level?

You can do just that through Bevtools.com, the purveyor of the finest beverage tools in the world.

TEAM BEVTOOLS. Bevtools President F. Patrick Cuartero (second from left) and CEO Alvin Dan Velasco (first from right) with their brand ambassadors at ABV.

Primer was on hand at the Bevtools press launch which happened on June 15 at ABV Cocktail Absinthe Bar, where Bevtools President F. Patrick Cuartero, CEO Alvin Dan Velasco (Zing! Rewards, Groupon), and Supply Chain lead Paola Cruz (BASF, GDM Inc.) were all on board to talk about Bevtools.

According to Alvin, “Now is the best time to get into the food and beverage industry. People are now very particular about what and where they eat and drink. It goes to show how we, as a people, have evolved.”

“Anything and everything that you can think of with regards to bartending or bar culture, we will have that,” says Patrick. They’ll soon be delving into bar set-ups and even branching out to providing tools for those who prefer coffee and tea instead of craft cocktails.

Bevtools is not just about the local bar scene. They’re more for the average Juan: the kuyas, tatays, and titos who have been mixing cocktails on their own ever since they could legally drink. This gives them access to bar sets without having to spend an arm and a leg.
