As chairman and host of APEC 2015, he summarized what transpired during this week-long meeting and visit to Manila. APEC leaders have addressed the critical and regional global issues being faced by the Asia-Pacific region, such as terrorism, poverty, global economic growth and climate change, and talked about the plans and strategies that ensure progress and solutions for these issues. In this regard, APEC member-economies have issued the 23rd APEC Leader’s Meeting Declaration as ‘Building Inclusive Economies, Building Better World’, promising their support and commitment to take forward over the coming year.
