Polecats Manila Presents: Stellar on Reel

Polecats Manila, the premiere aerial arts school in the Philippines, showcased their students’ talents in a recital entitled “Stellar on Reel” at the AFP Theater, Camp Aguinaldo last July 25, Saturday.

On its fifth year, Stellar, the main title of the annual showcase of student athletes enrolled in Polecats Manila, adapted a movie theme this year where films like Big Hero 6, The Hunger Games, Mission: Impossible, and Charlie’s Angels were interpreted onstage. Students performed several numbers using their aerial expertise on pole, aerial silk, striptease and aerial hoop.

The showcase began with performances from students of the Beginner, Intermediate and special pole class from the different branches of Polecats Manila. It was then followed by a performance from the aerial hoop and aerial silk class. To top it all off, the mentors and members of Polecats Manila gave a final number, wowing the audience with both their aerial and dancing prowess.

One of the performances that caught the attention of the audience was the number by the Moms and More class, where mothers showcased their hidden talent in the aerial arts. Another number that amazed the audience was by the striptease class where students enticed everyone with a very entertaining and sexy Magic Mike-inspired number choreographed by Aira Bermudez of SexBomb.

It was a night to remember thanks to the engaging performances of both students and mentors of Polecats Manila. There is no doubt that among the audience, one or two (or more!) will be enticed to enroll in one of their classes as soon as possible.
