  • A place that used to be a spring field is now one of Banaue’s best places to stay. If you’re looking for serenity without being too far from the town proper, then Spring Village Inn is a good choice.

Spring Village Inn can be considered a heritage inn, being one of the oldest in Banaue. It used to be the family home of the owners, but was turned into an inn when tourists started flooding into Banaue.

HOMESTAY IN BANAUE. Home away from home.

It got its name because the place where it stands used to be rice terraces that belong to the ancestors of the owners. It was filled with spring water from the mountains, hence the name Spring Village.

WELCOME TO YOUR BANAUE HOME. Beautiful wood carvings dominate their interior.

Spring Village has been around for 25 years, yet it remains one of Banaue’s best lodges. It’s not the fanciest lodge, but this 10-room lodge is a good place to stay for people who like a quiet place only minutes away from the center of Banaue.

FEELS LIKE HOME. You’ll get simple yet elegant rooms at Spring Village Inn.

Rooms at Spring Village Inn are standard. You can get rooms for as low as P1,500 per night, which is good for two people. There are also rooms available for as many as five people, which go for as much as P2,500 per night. All rooms have their own private bathroom with hot shower and towels.

Extra beds are available for P300, though these rates do not include breakfast. There is WiFi available upon request, but be warned: signal strength is not one of Banaue’s good points, so you may have a hard time connecting to the internet.

Parking space is hard to come by in Banaue. Most lodges in Banaue do not have parking spaces for those who travel by private vehicle, but Spring Village Inn is one of the few that has one.

As with most Banaue accommodations, Spring Village Inn serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner at an extra cost. It’s not that expensive, plus the food is good. It also lets you stay in the lodge to eat, so there’s no need to go out of the inn just to get food. This helps especially at night, when most establishments in Banaue close at 19:30.

Spring Village Inn accepts cash payments and bank transfers for all of its reservations. It’s a good place for both foreigners and locals to stay in, though the owner says the place is geared more for locals than foreigners.

Spring Village Inn is located at Poblacion, Banaue, Ifugao. Guests can check-in anytime they wish, but should check-out by 12:00 pm. For reservations, please call 0916-927-9623.
