Guest artists are Filipino violinist Joaquin Maria “Chino” Gutierrez for the morning concert, and violinist Adrian Nicolas C. Ong for the afternoon performance.

Stimulate your child’s creativity and help them develop an understanding of symphonic music in a concert setting. They’ll also have the chance better know the four major families of instruments: brass, percussion, strings, and woodwinds. Certain musical terms will also be explained during the concert.

The program includes J. Strauss’ Die Fledermaus – Overture and Pizzicato Polka, C. Saint-Saens’ Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, R. Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia on Greensleeves, Leroy Anderson’s Serenata, and Arturo Marques’ Danzon No.2.

He made his orchestral debut at age 10 and was admitted into the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München under Jens Ellermann at age 14, and was under Olga Voitova Bloch and Christoph Poppen during his stay.

Chino is an alumnus of the Kronberg Academy Mastercourse, the Keshet Eilon International master course, and the Beijing Central Conservatory masterclasses. He performs on a 1760 Vinaccia on loan from a generous patron.
