  • Ayala Triangle Gardens to light up with Festival of Lights
  • Ayala Avenue being lit up last week proved to be a primer as Ayala Land and HSBC present the much-anticipated Festival of Lights, happening at the Ayala Triangle Gardens from November 15 to January 8.

IT WAS A SIGN OF THINGS TO COME. Ayala Avenue, Paseo de Roxas, and Makati Avenue’s center islands were lit up last November 3; but, it’s not the only thing being lit up. Ayala Triangle Gardens is up next on November 15 as Ayala Land brings back the Festival of Lights.

The installations you’ve seen along Ayala Avenue, Paseo de Roxas, and Makati Avenue were just a sign of things to come. Ayala Land and HSBC, in partnership with MasterCard and Sun Life, bring back the iconic lights and sounds show at Ayala Triangle Gardens: the Festival of Lights.

A tradition that’s been going on for the past 6 years, the Festival of Lights is one of the most spectacular light shows you’ll ever see. It’s been dubbed by Conde Nast Traveller as one of the Seven Most Spectacular Lights in the World, and never fails to bring a smile to the busy workers of Makati’s Central Business District.

The Festival of Lights will run every night from November 15, 2016 to January 8, 2017. It starts at 6:00 pm and ends at 10:00 pm, happening every 30 minutes.

Apart from the Festival of Lights, Ayala Land will also be jazzing up Circuit Makati as they erect a 56-foot outdoor Christmas tree, which will be on display from November 18 to January 8, 2017. Circuit Makati will also play host to one of the country’s biggest Christmas bazaars: the Circuit Makati Bazaar, happening at the Globe Circuit Events Ground from November 18 to 20, 11:00 am to 12:00 midnight.

Thanksgiving masses will also be held at the Ayala Triangle Gardens from December 15 to 23 at 6:00 pm to commemorate the spirit of Christmas. If you’re fond of listening to Christmas carols, make sure you clear your schedule on December 19 as the Globe Circuit Events Grounds plays host to the Makati Inter-High School Caroling Competition.
