  • Maremegmeg Beach Club in El Nido: A Stylish and Eco-Friendly Beach-Front Resort
  • A quiet escape from the fast-moving town of El Nido is the newly opened Maremegmeg Beach Club strategically located at the heart of Maremegmeg beach.

This eco-friendly beachfront resort exudes a stylish yet intimate architecture boasting one of the best views and access to the sea.

They have an infinity pool facing the beach, as well as paddleboards, speedboats, and kayaks that are free of charge for in-house guests and charges only Php 200/hour for a big kayak and Php 100/hour for a small one for walk-ins.

Having been opened just last year of February, the resort currently features 12 rooms and is expecting to expand with 32 more in the next few years.

Guests may choose from their selection of  King Suite with Sea View, Deluxe Suite with Sea View or One Queen and One Single Bed Room.

Each room is accented with Filipino touches like abaca rugs and the hanging lamps that are actually baskets made by weavers from Sibaltan, El Nido.

These timeless pieces are well complemented by the room’s simple yet warm vibenot to mention that it opens up to a balcony with a perfect view of the islands around.

Maremegmeg Beach Club first started as Maremegmeg Beach Bar and even after three years of serving nothing but the best beach comfort foods, the beach bar is thriving and continuously offering good bites whether you’d like something for breakfast or post-dinner bar chows.

Spice up your drinks with their Tropical Ceviche (Php 320) that varies depending on the catch of the day and season with spices, peppers, lime, cucumber, and onion.

If you’re looking for something healthy, they have the Maremegmeg Salad (Php 320) that comes with lettuce, smoked fish, boiled egg, olives, capers, and cucumber with calamansi vinaigrette.

For a heavier take, they also have a Club Sandwich (Php 380) with chicken fillet, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, egg, and cheese. Don’t forget to grab a bite of their sweet selection like the Cassava Royal (Php 200) topped with ice cream!

Nothing like pairing it with their cocktails that are best enjoyed with their Happy Hour Promo of Php 250 for two cocktails. It runs every day from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

There is a lot more to expect in Maremegmeg Beach Club as they will soon be opening a new fine dining restaurant, a function room, a retail area, and a juice bar in the near future!

    How to get here:

    • From El Nido Municipal Hall, you can ride a tricycle that passes through the Taytay-El Nido National Highway. You will be dropped off at Vanilla Beach where the McDo is located. You will have to go and walk towards the beach area and turn left. Maremegmeg Beach Club is the first accommodation on the left, directly facing the beach. You can call the concierge to help you with your things since you will be walking in the sand.
