(CLOSED) Bearseum in Tagaytay: Bringing Bear-Filled Happiness and Relaxation to Everyone
Tagaytay is an emerging tourist spot that guests love to visit every now and then. If you’re looking for a special place at the chilly weather of Tagaytay, find your way to Bearseum, and bring back your childhood with ultimate happiness and relaxation all rolled into one.
Bearseum offers a first-of-its-kind Bear museum, a 15 to 20 minutes museum experience and a creative space that will surely remind everyone that happiness is everywhere. Admission every weekday (Tue-Thu) is Php 250 while weekend rates (Fri-Sun) are Php 300.
As of the moment, children below 14 and adults over 65 aren’t allowed to enter due to the COVID-19 pandemic! The museum is open 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and socks, face mask, and face shield are required upon entering due to health and safety protocols.
Can’t get enough of bears? Bearseum also has suites where guests can eat! Choose from six extraordinarily decorated rooms bursting with bear-filled happiness and comfort like the enchanted forest, royal delight, and beyond the stars room.
The rooms are spacious and perfect for sharing with families and friends. The hotel-museum also has an in-house restaurant called Bearseum Kitchen that serves mouth-watering comfort food!
When it’s time to go back to reality, head over to Bearseum’s gift shop and select a souvenir from their wide collection of bear-y special items that will surely bring back the inner child in you.
How to get here
- By car: From Makati take the SLEX and take the Binan exit. From Binan exit, take the Nuvali Rd and continue to Laguna Blvd then turn right to Santa Rosa – Tagaytay Rd., continue straight. Bearseum is near Loumar’s Cafe and across Cittavivere Suites.
- By public transport: From the Ayala triangle, take the Erjohn and Almark bus bound to Tagaytay and then get off at Olivarez Plaza. From there, there are several tricycles that you can hail going to Bearseum. The fare usually starts at Php 30. Another option is to take the jeepney going to Tagaytay Calamba Road and getting off at the intersection of Tagaytay Calamba and Tagaytay Sta Rosa Rd. From there you may take either a jeepney or a tricycle.
