  • Kabigan Falls in Brgy. Baloi, Ilocos Norte is one of the most sought-after spots in Ilocos Norte, not only for the majestic waterfall itself but also for the 40-minute trail that awaits.

    Tourists trek along Kabigan Falls with the majestic waterfall behind them.

    The mouth of the trail is near Bantay Abot Cave, within approximately five minutes of driving.

    From here, you would have to get off and start your trek along the trail with trees lining up the side of the road, the picturesque sight of the mountains beyond, and the gentle sound of the streams greeting you with your every step.

    Going to Kabigan Falls requires crossing a bridge– a feat easy enough for the adventure-lovers.

    The effort is well worth the long trek as the 87-feet-high waterfall stands tall and proud atop a basin of cool and clear water, ideal for swimming after the trek.


    Do not forget to capture your moments at Kabigan Falls with your friends and family!

    An entrance fee of Php 20 and Php 100 (5 pax) for the tour guide who is a resident of the barangay, is all you need to reach the majestic waterfall in Brgy. Baloi in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte! Just coordinate with the Municipality of Pagudpud at ommpagudpud@yahoo.com before going. 

    So pack your bags lightly and get ready to trek the path going to Kabigan Falls for a fun adventure that would be a shame to miss.

    How to get here:

    • By car: From Laoag City proper, follow the Manila North Road before taking the Pan-Philippine Highway. You are on the right path when you pass by the Pagudpud Municipal Arch on the way. Go straight until you reach Baloi where a Baloi Barangay Police Outpost can be found. Get off at this point and enjoy the walk towards the waterfalls.
