  • ILOCOS SUR TRAVEL: NOAH Engages Nature’s Elements with Extreme Sports
  • It is greatly evident upon arriving at Ilocos Sur that the province is blessed with both mountains and bodies of water that make up most of its landscape.

With this, it is only about time for visitors from around the world to be one with nature by participating in what can be the most thrilling experience you may have in Ilocos Sur—through Narvacan Outdoor Adventure Hub!

Going to Ilocos Sur, this is the scene that will ultimately greet you. Complemented by the great weather, the mountainous province is a sight to behold!

Narvacan Outdoor Adventure Hub, popularly known as NOAH, brings you closer to nature with its many sports activities. The best part is that it’s backdropped along Ilocos Sur’s rocky ridges, tempting waters, with the heat of the sun on your back and the refreshingly cool breeze blowing on your skin.

For the brave heart, try their Full Mountain Adventure comprised of Via Ferrata, Tyrolean Traverse, and the Zipline for only Php 700 per person!

The Via Ferrata, which literally translates to “iron path”, is a fully vertical climb through the iron rungs safely attached on the side of the cliff.

The path up may have you stepping back from its sheer height and intimidating tracks. Don’t fret as NOAH ensures a safe climb with their collection of safety gears such as a helmet, steel cables, harness, shackles, and a professional tour guide.

After almost 200 ft. of the climb up, guests may get to descend through the Tyrolean Traverse, where you cross one point to the other by means of a rope. For those without fear of heights and would like to experience something new, this one is for you.

Finally, embrace the end of your adventure as you get to their 520-meter Zipline!

Moreover, other adventures you may want to try at NOAH are the following:

    1. Wind Surf Lessons
    2. Paragliding Tandem
    3. 4X4 Off-road Driving

After a tiring day at NOAH, this adventure hub also sees to it to give you a hearty meal with their in-house restaurant, ARKO. It’s actually the first establishment that will greet you along Sulvec Port Road.

ARKO’s backdrop is Ilocos Sur’s rugged mountains, and in front, the Narvacan Beach overlooking the West Philippine Sea.

ARKO serves both local and foreign dishes including Ilocos’s famed Bagnet or pork belly, which may have originated in the municipality. This dish is so well-loved that they celebrate it with Narvacan’s Bagnet Festival!

So if you are looking for a thrilling, nerve-wracking adventure in Ilocos Sur, and you are aiming to satisfy your cravings for Bagnet, visit Narvacan Outdoor Adventure Hub along Sulvec Port Road in Narvacan!
