  • Twin Lakes Tagaytay: Gastronomical Paradise
  • It only takes an hour and a half by car to enjoy life outside the city, particularly if you’re headed for Tagaytay. In a world that seems to be getting smaller, it’s difficult to find a place where there is no pollution, traffic, and a mountain of garbage.

Metro Manila’s fast-paced lifestyle usually causes stress and sickness. This makes Twin Lakes in Tagaytay City the perfect sanctuary that can help you rethink and recharge for the busy work week ahead.

Twin Lakes ensures you live close to nature but not away from the modern living. Created by Megaworld, they’ve raised the bar of living in Tagaytay through their first vineyard resort township. This high-end community will be finished around 2020, giving citizens of Metro Manila a 1,200-hectare land in Tagaytay that will feature condominiums, retails shops, and a whole host of amenities.

Apart from the residential lots, Twin Lakes is also a gastronomical paradise. It houses different restaurants and coffee shops that are perfect for families who want to dine out while enjoying the cold breeze of Tagaytay.

    The Farm Organics

Double Cheeseburger (Php 330 for Local and All Natural, Php 420 for Certified Organic)

The Farm Organics devotes their time to serve great tasting dishes using organic meat certified by The Organic Certification Center of the Philippines (OCCP). They’ve been getting their meat from their farm in Masbate since 1976, and only from cows that are naturally fed and are not given antibiotics, artificial drugs, or growth hormones. They also serve vegan burgers for those who are health conscious.

    Silver Bucket

L-R: Mixed Seafood Bucket (Php 1900), Tom Yum Soup (Php 345), and Arros A la Valenciana Paella (Php 1000)

For all things seafood, Silver Bucket is a must visit! They serve the freshest crabs and mussels, and they let you order an entire seafood bucket for yourself! Each dish is prepared by a highly-trained chef in an open kitchen setup. Their best-sellers are their signature Special Seafood in a Bucket (Php 1,900) and their Arros A la Valenciana Paella (Php 1,000). They also serve pasta, salads, and have a wine list to boot.

    Buon Giorno Caffe and Bistro

Buon Giorno Special Salad (275) and Insalata Caprese (Php 225)

Created out of love for Italian cuisine, Buon Giorno Caffe and Bistro serves a wide selection of gourmet Italian food that is not only sumptuous but also affordable. Aside from Twin Lakes’ breathtaking view, Bion Giorno’s dishes are a sight to behold. Besides the usual pizza and pasta, customers and guests should definitely try their fruit shakes, antipasti, meat stews, and more. We recommend their Fresh Tarragon Tea (Php 70) if you are looking to de-stress and calm your nerves.

    Sissy’s Nail and Spa

After a day of trying out new dishes at Twin Lakes Tagaytay, it’s best to end your day with a trip to the spa. Unwind and enjoy the many services that Sissy’s Nail and Spa offers, like the standard manicure, pedicure, and body massage. They provide the best pamper time you can get in Tagaytay coupled with peace and quiet. If you’re dropping by on a weekend, make sure to book in advance to fully experience all the services they offer.
