New Night Trail in Masungi Georeserve: Things You Only See After-dark
Adventurers and naturalists have been coming and coming back to Masungi Georeserve in Rizal for its spectacular trails that let people marvel at the great expanse of karst landscape. And the hype doesn’t die down easily—not with the newest Discovery Trail at Night.

There are some things you can only see when the daylight is out—and the trail of lights are on. Masungi’s Night Trail lets you see the rainforest and karst environment in a way that is somewhat mystical and intimate as if watching someone closely in their slumber.

Carefully placed only in select spots, the night lights are low in wattage, minimal, and non-distractive to ensure that the nocturnal ecosystem inside the conservation area will remain undisturbed.
Since its soft launching earlier this August, the night trail has been opened to group visits on certain weekends until September. In the middle of the trail, you can sit down by a campfire and enjoy complimentary snacks of homemade sausages, native corns and vegetables on sticks.
