The original structure—which is an ancestral house, was first built in 1918 and was restored and renovated into a hotel with twenty-one rooms in 2011. Since then, Hotel Felicidad has been proudly serving its guests with the Ilocano hospitality true to its tagline, giving guests the best possible customer service from any of Vigan’s hotels.
What makes this hotel unique is the architectural features retained from the original edifice of the ancestral house that takes guests on a journey back in the old days. Its thick brick walls, high ceilings, Nara floorings, white walls, antique fixtures, and the smoked glass window panes that mirror the familiar Spanish historical ambiance of the town.

They are also one of the few hotels in Vigan that retained the elements of an ancestral house. One of their highlights is their Azotea, where you can relax and have a snack while enjoying views of Vigan.

Hotel Felicidad was the first one to introduce the idea of having hotel annexes in Vigan. Now, they have a total of 34 elegant and spacious rooms including those in their annex.

Their grand suites such as the Maestro suite and Maesta suite features the classic four-poster beds known as “Ah-Tay” made from mahogany and Molave wood. These rooms are spacious enough to occupy at least 2 persons.

Families can opt to stay in dormitory type rooms such as the Nuve Nueva for 9 persons and the Sinco Estrellas for 5 persons.
Each bed is equipped with Vigan mosquito nets, Abel (woven) bed runners, old-style Baul or luggage racks, and tall dressers with mirrors. All guest rooms are air-conditioned, with flat screen TV, and wifi access.
